The competition \u201cPresent your thesis in 4 minutes\u201d is organised by the FCRI with the support of the Government of Catalonia and the 12 Catalan universities. The competition challenges PhD students in any scientific discipline to explain their research to a non-specialist audience in four minuts or less with easy to comprehend language.<\/p>\n

In 2022 competed 125 doctoral students, selected out of 247 candidates from the 138 Catalan universities.<\/p>\n

The competition consists of two stages: a preliminary round in every participating university, and a final event to be held among the finalists form each Catalan university.<\/p>\n

Candidates must be doctoral students in at least their second year of doctoral studies.<\/p>\n
