En la iniciativa participen 15 joves investigadors i investigadores que duran a terme classes magistrals i tallers presencials per 380 alumnes de 4rt d\u2019ESO i 1er i 2on de batxillerat de 15 centres educatius d\u2019arreu el territori. El programa \u00e9s una iniciativa de la biotecnol\u00f2gica Amgen i la Fundaci\u00f3 Catalana per a la Recerca i la Innovaci\u00f3 (FCRI), que van acordar recentment la seva continu\u00eftat durant tres cursos m\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nivell estatal, el personal investigador predoctoral i postdoctoral participant \u00e9s de 33 persones (58% dones i 42% homes), vinculades activament als centres participants, que col\u00b7laboraran amb un total de 35 centres escolars de Catalunya, la Comunitat Valenciana, Madrid, Illes Balears i Gal\u00edcia. El total d&#8217;alumnes participants en les 5 comunitats supera els 875 estudiants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amgen TransferCi\u00e8ncia combina l\u2019ensenyament amb el foment de les vocacions cient\u00edfiques. El seu in\u00e8dit enfocament metodol\u00f2gic construeix equips col\u00b7laboratius entre joves cient\u00edfics i cient\u00edfiques a les escoles i instituts, que treballen conjuntament amb el professorat. Aquesta din\u00e0mica permet primer dissenyar i despr\u00e9s aplicar a les classes continguts cient\u00edfics de forma m\u00e9s comprensible i atractiva, amb el rerefons de fomentar l\u2019inter\u00e8s per les carreres cient\u00edfiques en els \u00e0mbits de la gen\u00e8tica i la biotecnologia entre els alumnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les classes presencials sobre gen\u00e8tica i biotecnologia es complementen amb tallers pr\u00e0ctics d\u2019investigaci\u00f3, sessions experimentals recolzades amb l\u2019\u00fas de kits d\u2019experimentaci\u00f3, dedicats a diferents tem\u00e0tiques de l\u2019\u00e0mbit biotecnol\u00f2gic. En el cas catal\u00e0, s\u2019experimentar\u00e0, entre d\u2019altres, amb l\u2019editor gen\u00e8tic CRISPR i electroforesi; CRISPR aplicat al tractament de la fibrosi qu\u00edstica; detecci\u00f3 del virus de l\u2019hepatitis B per PCR; test ELISA per a la detecci\u00f3 de l\u2019Alzheimer; i tests de paternitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Catalunya, els investigadors i investigadores participants han estat seleccionats per l\u2019FCRI, amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de Centres de Recerca de Catalunya (CERCA). Posteriorment, han estat formats en did\u00e0ctica de les ci\u00e8ncies pel Grup de Recerca Educativa en Ci\u00e8ncies de la Salut (GRECS) de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Creant referents cient\u00edfics de futur per a l&#8217;alumnat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un dels principals arguments esgrimits pels cient\u00edfics i cient\u00edfiques de l\u2019equip d\u2019Amgen TransferCi\u00e8ncia per integrar-se al programa \u00e9s la necessitat de construir referents adequats per motivar l\u2019alumnat cap a l\u2019\u00e0mbit cient\u00edfic, trencant estereotips sobre les ci\u00e8ncies, en general i la biotecnologia i la gen\u00e8tica, en concret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAmgen TransferCi\u00e8ncia transmet el paper de les cient\u00edfiques i les cient\u00edfiques com a model per als adolescents que han de decidir a qu\u00e8 es voldran dedicar i que encara no tenen referents de futur, un fet que afecta especialment les noies\u201d, assenyala Anna Oncins, investigadora del Centre de Regulaci\u00f3 Gen\u00f2mica (CRG) i membre del equip del programa. En la seva opini\u00f3, la iniciativa \u201c\u00e9s una gran oportunitat d\u2019apropar a l\u2019alumnat el que es fa al laboratori per tal que la ci\u00e8ncia deixi de ser percebuda com a dif\u00edcil i llunyana i ho sigui com una eina necess\u00e0ria per tractar molts tipus de malalties\u201d. Oncins realitzar\u00e0 una activitat sobre edici\u00f3 gen\u00e8tica CRISPR a l\u2019Institut Miami de Mont-Roig del Camp (Baix Camp). Les pr\u00e0ctiques a classe es plantegen sempre com un problema per resoldre, que desperta la curiositat dels alumnes, fent \u00fas d\u2019un llenguatge divulgatiu i accessible per\u00f2 mantenint, alhora, el rigor cient\u00edfic. Com explica, Pol Garcia, investigador que desenvolupar\u00e0 una pr\u00e0ctica sobre tests de paternitat a l\u2019INS Vall de Ll\u00e9mena de Girona, \u201cels investigadors tenim el deure amb la societat de comunicar i divulgar la nostra recerca i apropar-la als joves, per\u00f2 ho hem de fer d\u2019una forma planera i motivadora\u201d. En aquest sentit, Amgen TransferCi\u00e8ncia facilita que l\u2019alumnat aprengui sense adonar-se\u2019n i, com a valor afegit, obtingui referents positius i motivadors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com a novetat, el programa ha format el professorat i el personal investigador en comunicaci\u00f3 i divulgaci\u00f3 cient\u00edfica, per tal de poder potenciar la capacitat d\u2019exposici\u00f3 de l\u2019alumnat en l\u2019\u00e0mbit de la gen\u00e8tica i la biotecnologia. Amb aquest objectiu, s\u2019ha convocat, per primera ocasi\u00f3 i a nivell estatal, un concurs que convida a l\u2019alumnat de tots els centres participants a Amgen TransferCi\u00e8ncia a comunicar, de forma clara i concisa, en un v\u00eddeo de 2 minuts, un concepte o el resultat d\u2019un dels tallers o activitats desenvolupades. Els v\u00eddeos guanyadors es faran p\u00fablics el mes de juny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Igualment, en aquesta edici\u00f3 el personal investigador podr\u00e0 oferir assessoria a l\u2019alumnat en l\u2019\u00e0mbit professional i estudi, si el centre aix\u00ed ho sol\u00b7licit\u00e9s, aix\u00ed com organitzar una visita al<s>s<\/s> seu<s>s<\/s> centre<s>s<\/s> de recerca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amgen TransferCi\u00e8ncia es va iniciar com a programa pilot el curs 2019-2020, cobrint inicialment 3 comunitats aut\u00f2nomes (Catalunya, Comunitat Valenciana i Balears). L\u2019actual cinquena edici\u00f3 (curs 2022-2023), en cobreix 5.
